On October
23rd, 15 of our Environmental SHSM students travelled to the
University of Guelph for an SHSM training day. Students participated in
two interactive training sessions where they learned about Plant Management and
Habitat Restoration using plant species. The above image shows 6 of our
students enjoying a tour of the Guelph research greenhouses where they used
some impressive research technology to measure light intensity, carbon dioxide
output, soil pH and soil moisture and nutrient levels.
